Seats
The majority of 3 wheel double buggies are designed as single pushchairs. However, some models can be converted to accommodate an additional seat by using adapters. Certain models let you add an additional board for older kids who are ready to walk, but need some help.
If you're looking for a lightweight option that is ideal for city streets, take a look at the Joie Evalite Duo. It's a breeze to move and comes with a large basket that has plenty of storage space. It can accommodate twins starting at birth and can accommodate two car seats, or a carrycot with seat. The seats have to face towards the front and there is no space for an item under the seat. Suspension

The suspension of a triple wheeled buggy will determine the ease with which your child/children and you can push it. It is crucial to have a smooth ride, since babies feel every bump that comes along the road. This is particularly true if you are driving on rough terrain like grass or roads that aren't paved. Some models also come with locking front wheels to assist in maneuvering and navigating obstacles such as curbs.
Some models use air-filled tyres, which provide a fantastic all-terrain experience, but they can be susceptible to punctures, so ensure you have a spare set in the trunk. Other models use gel or foam tyres, specifically designed to handle bumps and can be less prone to punctures however, you may feel a bit stiff and uncomfortable on your child's back should you decide to jog.

Folding
A 3 wheel double buggy can fold up quite easily to store it. There are options that fold flat and stand up (as as if they were in a pushchair) and also those that pop up to reveal a more umbrella-style fold, with a hand-operated brake. In general, the more wheels a buggy comes with, the easier it will be to maneuver on rough terrain. This is especially true if the wheels are bigger than the typical size. You will have more stability and it will be less likely that you be forced to tip over or flip your child.

It it can be converted into a side-byside double buggy once your child is old enough for them to sit beside each other. It's a lightweight option that is easy to push. It also comes with a bumper bar and a rain cover.
The phil&teds sports is an alternative option. It is future-proof since it's a fantastic buggy and can be adapted to accommodate two (or three!) All of this is incorporated into its compact footprint. It has a clever three-wheel design with a sling for greater maneuverability and stability.
If you want to jog with your children it is the best double buggies to jog with as it has a lockable swivel front wheel that can help you keep your balance when you're on off-road or hilly tracks.
